We meet every Tuesday for six weeks in a hybrid format: the first and last class are in-person in Nashville from 6pm-8pm. The four classes between meet from 7pm-8pm over Zoom. We build connections between families and instructor, and also don’t sit in traffic every week during dinner time.

Students are given 3 months access to the Evidence Based Birth learning materials, including videos, articles, and parent library to come back to even after class is over. Each week, videos and reading materials are assigned to complete before class, and we get to spend our time together discussing, asking questions, and reflecting with one another. We really absorb and conceptualize what we learn together.

You are able to contact your instructor between classes with further questions or items that you are not comfortable discussing in a group environment.

Please note: Classes are not recorded as per Evidence Based Birth instructor licensing rules. Should your instructor get called to a birth, a makeup class will be scheduled as soon as possible. We cannot offer makeup classes to individuals should they miss a class, as we are full time midwives, but we can offer brief phone calls to answer questions if one class is missed in the series.
